5/3/2014 – Shrove Tuesday is a day in February or March that happens a day before the Lent. It is usually commemorated by consuming large amount of pancakes, which in this case for a new cafe with the titular name is substituted by great waffles and ice cream (which coincidentally opened in February as well)
The drinks menu is very clear cut, consisting of coffee, tea and carbonated drinks selections.
The food menu. As of now they only have ice cream, cakes (gelato cakes too!), pastries & waffles. They will release a few certain brunch items in time to come.
The Roasted Peanut ($3, scoop) is sweet and nutty. The peanut taste stands out very well as the taste lingers in your mouth with every scoop!

The Fresh Coconut ($3, scoop) tasted very similar to having the real thing. Sweet and full of flavour, this will definitely delight anybody with a sweet tooth.

The tea here is recommended as there are different varieties of fruity teas to choose from. The Melon & Mangosteen Tea ($4.50, pot) has a strong fragrance of melon and mangosteen and taste rich on the flavour as well, without being too sweet.

If you are around Toa Payoh or live there, do give this place a visit. I will definitely make a visit to try their brunch items and waffles next time!
