Menya Kyo – Bugis Junction

26/1/2014 – Menya Kyo is a Japanese restaurant that opened last year at Bugis Junction, selling mainly ramens but also offer dons and curry rices as well. Formerly having a branch outlet at TripleOne Somerset, it has since closed down.

Char Siew Miso Ramen ($13.80). The springy noodles is well accompanied with the tender char siew, seaweed and mushroom.

Tonkotsu Miso Ramen ($11.80). The noodles is good and the meat is tender as well and comes with the jew’s ear and mushroom. The soup is slightly too salty however.

To end off the meal, order a Green Tea (Hot) ($1).

Menya Kyo serves great no-frills ramen with consistent taste. If you are nearby Bugis Junction, this place serves as a great place to come to (there is no service charge and GST!)
