7/1/2014 – When finding out where I can get great food around Woodlands, I found Hong Ji Claypot Bak Kut Teh to be the answer most people gave. Drawing a steady crowd every day, this place serves great bak kut teh.
The Claypot Bak Kut Teh ($5.50) here has a similar taste to what I had in JB previously (the herbal type in contrast to the peppery type). The broth is simmered using different kinds of herbs. The taste of the soup is great and strong and the pork ribs are tender, not to mention the tau pok (tofu puffs), that is soft and chewy.
If you are around the Marsiling area, this place is a great place to come to especially during lunch/dinner.
