Osaka Ohsho – Raffles City

20/7/2013 – A usual Saturday perfect for lunch. I asked FS out to have lunch at this Japanese restaurant famed for their Gyoza at Raffles City – Osaka Ohsho.

I had the Fuwatoro Tenshin Han Set ($12.90++). This was basically fluffy omelette rice with a thick layer of gravy poured on it. This tasted great and is a must have as its not commonly found in other Japanese establishments.

FS had the Gyokai Ramen Set ($11.90++). The ramen tasted not too bad but not outstanding either.

The Gyoza 6 pieces comes with the sets. Its understandable how they are famed for these gyozas. These are slightly pan-fried and tasted great with each bite.

This place serves Houji Cha ($1++), which is roasted green tea, as opposed to most other restaurants serving Ocha. Nonetheless, this tasted fragrant and refreshing.

One place to come to if you want Japanese food within the vicinity. I know I would, but more towards the gyozas!
