4 Fingers Crispy Chicken – Plaza Singapura

Upon hearing the outlet at Plaza Singapura being open, me and X went to the 4 Fingers Crispy Chicken there on 1/6/2013. This time, we asked V who is usually busy during weekends to have dinner with us! The queue at ION Orchard never seems to subside during dinner (and so does the crowd here, illustrated in later pictures), which forced us to come here instead. This outlet was previously occupied by The Cafe Cartel.

We ordered 3 set meals. Firstly we had the signature 4 Fingers Crispy Chicken 6 pieces with Kimchi Fries and drink ($9.95). The chicken comes with 3 options; Soy Garlic, Spicy and Mix (a mixture of the 2 sauces) , which we took the latter. The chicken was slightly sweet, tender, crispy and tender. The Kimchi Fries tasted good but we felt that it was a bit salty for our liking.

Next comes the Katsu Chicken Sandwich with Kimchi Fries and drink ($9.95). I am very amazed at how this sandwich was being executed out. The sandwich is covered with kimchi and chicken katsu topped with a slice of lettuce. The chicken was soft and tender and marinated so well it is a good combination with the kimchi. Slightly sweet as well.

Lastly, the Crispy Calamari with Seaweed Fries and drink ($9.95). The calamari is very chewy and is crispy on the skin. It tasted even better with the lime. The seaweed fries tasted better than the kimchi fries we feel as the powder was added to the right portion which made the seaweed flavour distinct without the aftertaste of MSG. Sadly the kimchi fries had it.

It cost $1.55 to upsize to regular fries and drink. $0.55 to upsize just the drink, so now you know how much it cost to upsize the fries 😛

We walked around Plaza Singapura after our dinner and this was the crowd at about 10pm. This estimated to about a 15 minutes wait! (or at least, it was the same amount of people on the queue and we waited nearly 20 minutes)

Definitely a must-try fast food if you are within the vicinity, that is if you do not mind waiting for it!
