20/5/2013 – Its rare to meet X on a weekday for lunch. And one that we came to Junction 10 undecided. We then decided to go to Penyet Town. This Indonesian cuisine place is rather simple. Make the order on the sheet and pass it to the counter.
Next up, I had a Ayam Bakar ($6.50), which is grilled chicken. This tasted mildly sweet and best accompanied by the sauce given with it which makes it slightly more sweeter and spicy at the same time. I sweated dipping it with the sauce and gulping down the Homemade Ice Lemon Tea ($1.90, not shown).
Next came the Tahu Telor ($5), a fried beancurd omelette served with shrimp sauce that looked similar to tahu goreng. It is mildly crisp on the outside and tasted soft on the inside. The shrimp sauce which has peanuts inside is spicy as well. I gulped down even more of my ice lemon tea while having this.
I shall visit this place again for its other items. Indonesian food never always fails to please me with its variety and food!
